The San Francisco Lee Federal Credit
Union is a family based financial institution. We provide a
financial service to our members. We accept member's share deposits
and offer very competitive dividends each quarter. We provide loans
to meet the needs of our members. Each account is insured up to
$100,000 by the NCUA, an agency of the United States government.
Unlike many profit oriented financial institutions, we are a
non-profit organization dedicated to provide financial services to
our members. Our officers are non-paid volunteers who generously
devote their time and talents to provide a professional service to
our membership.
The San Francisco Lee Federal Credit Union was chartered in 1964. We
are now nine million dollars strong, with nearly 900 members.
Together with
five other Lee Federal Credit Unions
throughout the United States, we are the only federally chartered,
family based credit unions in the Chinese community.
Membership is open to anyone who is a Lee or related to a Lee.
Our members enjoy many membership functions, including but not limited to,
attending annual general membership lunch meeting, Christmas banquet, etc.
The annual general membership luncheon is customary scheduled before the
Lunar New Year to receive reports from the officers and to elect members to
the Board of Directors. Every Christmas, hundreds of members and their
families are invited to attend a Christmas banquet to celebrate the Holiday
Season and to bring in the New Year.
We
are located in the heart of San Francisco Chinatown, at 915 Grant Avenue.
Our office is open between 2:00 and 6:00 P.M., Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday,
Saturday, and Sunday. We are closed on Monday and Friday.
Personal and courteous service is our
goal. Our office manager and staff have pledged to provide the best
personalized service to help our members. Besides the office staff,
the Officers of the credit union are
available to discuss with you and assist you with your particular
